From the recording Here & There
The inception of this piece started on a dark summer day in Sydney jamming with tabla player Rob Shannon. The heat was unbearable and suddenly the sky turned black with storm clouds releasing a powerful torrent. The intensity and relief reflected the nature of light and dark and the solace we find through the contrasts in life’s experiences. The tune was completed back in Ireland and became a Celtic heavy metal epic in studio with the help of Dave De Bunker.
