I worked out a simple montuno and accompanying bass part in the Cuban style. I messed around with this and kept it as an introduction, waiting for an idea and a tune to arrive that I could go on with. Eventually it did, whilst ambling through the country side.
There is a long walk. It goes up a hill, through a hedge, past the cows in the field, watch out for the brambles. It's moist air. When you get up to the trail at the top, you will be rewarded with a view of the Blackwater valley. On a clear day you will see a long way. Other days you will be in a cloud and visibility is poor. You can still make your way back down the other way if you like. Join the road and head down hill. Watch your step on the "Winding Way"
